Privacy Policy.
Information We Do Not Collect
Your calculator inputs and display measurements are processed locally in your browser and are not transmitted to our application servers. Standard network metadata may still be processed by our hosting/CDN provider as described in our Privacy Policy.
Overview & Scope
The Screen Resolution Calculator is engineered as a privacy-first, 100% Client-Side Utility. Unlike traditional analytical tools, all calculationsincluding display aspect ratios, custom viewport scaling, PPI/DPI (Pixels Per Inch) density, dot pitch, and render scaling simulationare executed entirely within your local web browser engine.
Your technical display metrics, custom resolutions, hardware sizes, and calculated findings are never transmitted, uploaded, shared, or stored on any remote servers. Your data remains strictly sandboxed within your local web session.
Log Files & Web Edge Analytics
This website is hosted via Cloudflare edge infrastructure. To ensure operational integrity, site security, and global performance optimization, standard edge network server logs may be processed. These logs may include technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, ISP, timestamps, referring/exit pages, and other request metadata.
Additionally, we may employ lightweight, privacy-focused web edge analytics to monitor general traffic trends and aggregate visitor numbers. This traffic analysis is designed to analyze aggregate usage patterns and does not build cross-site behavior profiles or track individual identity.
Local Storage Usage
To deliver a seamless, high-performance web utility experience, we utilize your browser's native Local Storage. This client-side technology persists:
- Your active color theme preference (Dark Mode or Light Mode).
- Custom resolution, screen dimension, and aspect ratio inputs so they remain available on your next visit.
No data stored in Local Storage is transmitted to our servers or accessible by third parties. You can clear this data at any time using your browser's clear-cache utility or developer console.
Third-Party Advertising Disclosures
We may introduce third-party advertising in the future. If advertising is enabled, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the relevant advertising technologies, cookies, consent mechanisms, and third-party providers.
GDPR & CCPA/CPRA Rights
We respect your privacy rights, including those under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for EEA residents and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) for California residents.
- Right of Access & Rectification: Access your data or request corrections to inaccurate entries.
- Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Have your personal data completely deleted.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We provide equal service and pricing, even when you exercise your privacy rights.
Because our calculations occur 100% locally on your device, we do not store, process, or maintain personal dossiers on any centralized server databases. You can exercise your right to erasure instantly by clearing your browser's local storage and cookie files.
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
We prioritize safeguarding childrens online privacy. This website complies strictly with the Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly compile, request, or maintain any personal information from children under the age of 13.
